About the Role:
North Georgia Angel House Inc is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Overnight Teen Girl Direct Care Worker to join our team in Canton, GA. This is a meaningful opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of teenage girls by providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing overnight environment. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct supervision and overnight care for teenage girls in a residential setting
- General cleaning of common areas
- Administer Medication
- Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all residents throughout the overnight shift
- Respond to resident needs, concerns, and crisis situations with calm and professionalism
- Enforce house rules, routines, and behavioral guidelines in a consistent and compassionate manner
- Document incidents, behaviors, and observations accurately in resident logs and reports
- Conduct regular room checks and monitor the facility throughout the night
- Collaborate with day staff and supervisors to ensure continuity of care during shift transitions
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred
- Prior experience in youth care, residential care, or a related human services role preferred
- Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout overnight shifts
- Strong crisis intervention and de-escalation skills
- Genuine empathy and patience when working with at-risk or trauma-affected youth
- Must pass a background check and meet all state licensing requirements
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
